MOE guidelines for teachers giving tuition |
|

As all MOE-employed teachers would know, they are not allowed to teach in tuition centres under the employment of another company. However, engaging the service of a tuition agency like Tutors Centre is a different matter altogether. Register for FREE now and we will let you know when we have tuition assignments for you.
Tutoring by teachers is not prohibited by MOE. In fact, MOE's guidelines simply stipulates that teachers are not to do the following:
- teach in tuition centres.
- use their school's name in advertising their services.
- spend more than 6 hours tutoring.
- teach students from their own schools.
MOE teachers can rest assured that putting your profiles up in TutorsCentre.com is safe and within MOE guidelines.
